The Lamson Adventures!!!

Ewaninga,

Aboriginal Rock Carvings

As you can see, our vehicle, a big ol' Surburban, supplied by NT Luxury Day Tours, led us down the road to see some carvings. We watched as the balloons floated over us.

When we arrived at Ewaninga, I was amazed. The site was made up of litterally thousands of Aboriginal Rock Carvings. Wow!!! Our travel partners, Neville and Deidre, from Victoria were just as amazed. Neil, our tour guide had a knowledge of the site better than any book. He pointed out plants surrounding it and the history of the carvings and even covered the old Alice telegraph lines which were situated next to the site.
